Uncertainty and Sensitivity Analysis of Beam Stability Problems using Shell Finite Elements and Nonlinear Computational Approach
Original language description
The present paper deals with sensitivity analysis of the influence of initial imperfections on the ultimate limit state of a slender steel hot-rolled beam IPE 220 under bending. The load carrying capacity of the member with length L=2,96m is studied. Thetheoretical analysis is based on a geometrical and material non-linear finite element method.
