THE USE OF UNDERSIZED FRACTION OF RECYCLED BUILDING WASTE

  • Original language description

During recycling of building waste there arises so-called "siftings". The main representation of this material is during recycling of masonry buildings, but certain amount arises every time. This fine material, nowadays, does not have any use in furtherproduction of building materials, not even as granular fill and it thus end up at waste dumps. In a mixture with biological material, it can be used as a substrate that can be utilized for reclamation, modification of slopes and so on. Using of buildingwaste would lead not only to ecological gain (necessity to put lesser amount of waste to waste dumps) but also economic gain (no fees for disposal, lowering of usage of topsoil).
