This publication summarizes results of the research project CornerDike (HyIV-DHI-05) which was performed under the program HYDRALAB-IV. Within the introduction of this book the motivation and content of chapters is given. The publication contains a description of the current state of knowledge in the world, a description of the hydraulic model and aims of the research, data processing and results of the measurements aimed on evaluation of the effects of a very oblique waves on wave run-up and wave overtopping. Within the conclusions a summary of the main research achievements are presented and recommendations for further research are given.
