One of the methods to ensure thermal technical parameters of the house - even during reconstruction - the facade insulation. At the family houses and apartment buildings mostly means using ETICS - external thermal insulation composite system. It is composed of several basic parts, one of which a large role in the resulting performance and durability plays a thermal insulation and so called. base layer.The base layer is made of a combination of glass fiber mesh and leveling substances based on cement. This article is focused on testing and evaluation methods used for the diagnosis of this base layer. It focuses on their usefulness and appropriateness or for editing possibilities, if not entirely correct.
