Comparison of acoustic properties of buildings' envelope walls after application of etics on basis laboratory measurements
Original language description
The article deals with the issue of changes of sound insulation properties of the buildings' envelope walls after the application of the external thermal insulation system. In the first part of the article the requirements of current legislation, related to these constructions, are summarized. The main part of the article is then aimed at the experiment, which was performed on the basis of the mutual cooperation between The Acoustic Laboratory of the Brno University of Technology and the firm of civil engineering practice. As part of this experiment the laboratory measurements of three insulation systems were carried out, more specifically the materials of expanded polystyrene, mineral wool and high-expansion foam. The specific experimental results then show a real risk of the laboratory airborne sound insulation reduction depending on the frequency for the particular very commonly used materials of the external thermal insulation systems.
