Evaluation of Three-point Bending Fracture Tests of Selected Concrete ? Part I: Mechanical Fracture Parameters.
Original language description
In this paper authors focus attention on mechanical fracture parameters obtained from records of three point bending fracture test on concrete specimens with central edge notch. Total ten sets of specimens were tested. Three specimens at the age of 28 days were tested in each set. Concrete of each set of specimens was different in dosage of Portland cement CEM I 42.5 R and amount of used superplasticizer. The effective crack extension method was used to evaluate the load?deflection diagrams. Resistanceto stable and unstable crack propagation, which is evidently connected with durability of material, was quantified using double-K fracture model.
