Experimental verification of load-carrying capacity in case of steel post-installed expansion anchors subjected to a tension loading
Original language description
As one of the several main possibilities for the anchoring of the building structures they are steel mechanical post-installed anchors, which are very often used these days, especially because of their fast and easy installation as well as because of their immediate introduction of loading (unlike some bonded types like chemical anchors, for example, which are specific because of their available loading transfer). In the recent period they have been realized on the authors? workplace several series of the loading tests of these fasteners, where these experiments were mainly focused on an actual behaviour and on a load-carrying capacity determination of these members subjected to a tension loading. This paper deals with the results of mentioned experiments and summarizes the test evaluation especially in the event of concrete-cone failure, which is one of the two most frequently cases for these anchors.
