Distinctive structures have been ascertained in region of eastern part of the Bohemian Massif and Western Carpathians on the bases of the Remote Sensing, in the past. Their explanation and verification have been not yet realized, even though all structures have regional character and many morphological signs which unambiguously point out recent activity and deformations, including earthquake foci occurence. Among the mentioned structures belong the interpreted non-linear structures - “gravity nappe” in the western part of the Nízké Tatry Mts. and adjacent area of the Slovenské rudohorie Mts., resemble sliding block in the Malé Karpaty Mts., and Ukraine Flysch Carpathians, linear boundaries interpreted as tectonic systems – e.g. Myjava-SubTatra and Hron tectonic zones or Muráň-Malcov and Transgemeric tectonic zones. Their important role in neotectonic plane of the Western Carpathians was confirmed by newly processed GNSS data from permanent stations and epoch campaigns realized during last decades in mentioned area. On two chosen examples from the area of Slovakian Carpathians there are presented the interpreted results verified on the bases of satellite images, morphological, geophysical and GPS data evaluation.
