    INFORMATION SYSTEM OF STRUCTURAL MONITORING

  • Original language description

This article deals with information system of structural monitoring, which enables storing, analysing and presenting of short- and long-term monitoring data. A short-term monitoring data is meant to be a data acquired during single-shot measurements such as load testing of structures. Long-term monitoring is meant to be data acquired during longstanding observation of structures in operational conditions. Conception of monitoring information system come out from already developed systems such as BARAB, used in tunnelling practice, or ARGUS used for monitoring of some large projects in central London. Data structures of our monitoring system were built up for typified pilot projects of long-term monitoring of bridges and several types of short-term monitoring during load testing of bridges, monitoring of standard structures as well as monitoring of some special structures (e.g. nuclear power station). Flexible data structures allow integrating data from various measuring systems – electronic levelling systems, robotic total stations, GNSS systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, metrological sensors. Different types of documents, photos, technical drawings with the project documentation and events are processed. Data analysis using SQL is provided, different types of charts and numerical outputs are available. All outputs are assigned to the drawings or photos, and they are accessible via web based interface. The system makes it possible to export data to various data formats. Web-based administration also allows setting up different user’s levels, when particular user can access only particular project or results. Monitoring information system can be generally used for all types of structures.
