Comparison of Effectiveness of Acoustic Absorbers Applied on a Slab Track
Original language description
This paper is aimed to comparison of effectiveness related to two types of acoustic absorbers BRENS which are applied on a fixed railway track. For the purposes of measurement there have been suitable measuring sites selected on corridor routes and adequate measurement methodology designed. Monitored parameters were obtained according to response of structures tested in relation to moving loads, e.g. a train unit. To evaluate the measurement, the appropriate mathematical apparatus was selected; that one based on use of methods in the time and frequency areas. At the same time, the selected acoustic parameters were compared with the parameters of a section of fixed railway track with and without application of railway absorbers.
