The paper deals with the expert assessment to determine the maximum heat gain from waste water. The subject of the expert assessment was the design of the waste water collection from the main sewer in the Vlhká street and the placement of three heat exchangers in the planned Polyfunctional building Koliště-Vlhká in Brno. The heat gain will be used for heating and cooling the building.
