The thesis deals with the assessment of the economic impact of the use of ownership and separate operational models on water cost and water infrastructure impacts on the distribution network in the Czech Republic. For the purpose of the work, publicly accessible data from the Czech Statistical Office, data provided by water network operators, financial statements and closures of public network operators and relevant laws and decrees valid in the Czech Republic are used. The article compares the impacts of the ownership and separate operational models of the water management infrastructure on water prices in selected regions of the Czech Republic in 2014-2017.
