Original language description
The article describes the partial outputs of the research focusing on alternative procedures and agents for water treatment. In this case, the possibilities are shown of using water glass and nanoiron as agents for removing heavy metals and nutrients from the water. In particular, laboratory experiments are presented simulating the processes of removing chromium and phosphorus from water. The purpose of the experiments was to show the efficiency of mentioned alternative agents when removing the pollution mentioned.
