Destructive and Non-destructive Assessment of the Frost Resistance of Concrete Made with Different Aggregate
Original language description
The presentation deals with the influence of the mining deposit of the natural aggregate on the frost resistance of the concrete. Four types of concrete which varied in the origin of the sand and coarse natural aggregate were produced for the purpose of the experiment. Destructive and non-destructive testing methods were used to determine the frost resistance of the concretes. The results of the experiment present the differences in the frost resistance assessment using different testing methods and show, that the origin of aggregate influences the resulting values of the concrete's frost resistance.
