Original language description
The main objective of the paper is focused on an evaluation of daylighting in rooms of a historical hotel. The Hotel Thermia Palace was built in the Art-Nouveau style in the Spa Island in Piestany in Slovakia in 1912. It was considered to be the most stylish and modern spy hotel in central Europe on the time of its construction . he key outcome of the presented paper is a specification of daylighting in hotel rooms for two different climatic conditionsof the CIE overcast and clear skies and two solsticedays of 21stJune and 21stDecember. The simulations for these conditions represent two extreme cases for maximum and minimal daylight levels in annual evaluation .
