Laboratory Drug Removal from Water by Selected Adsorbents
Original language description
An experiment, monitoring diclofenac removal efficiency by selected sorption materials, was performed as a part of a specific research project at Institute of Municipal Water Management, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology. Filtration columns, filled with materials Filtrasorb F100, Bayoxide E33 and GEH were used for the experimental removal. The purpose of the experiment was to compare the selected sorption materials in terms of their efficiency of removing diclofenac from water. Analysis of the filtered water showed Filtrasorb F100 as the most suitable material for diclofenac removal.
