Original language description
This paper deals with an unfavorable phenomenon called the ponding effect. This phenomenon can cause an increase in local deformations on a tensile surface and therefore endanger the integrity of the structure in case of overcoming the tensile strength of the membrane material. A searching algorithm has been developed in order to analyze and prevent occurrence of this phenomenon. An improvement of the algorithm was made so that only an expected amount of precipitation would be considered during the calculation.
