Comprehensive approach to computational modelling of properties and behaviour of tyres
Original language description
The paper presents a system analysis of problems related to computational modelling and evaluating of stress-strain states in tyres. The material used in their production is a special fibre composite characterised by a difference of five orders between the elasticity moduli of fibres and matrix. The large strain of rubber and the very complex topology are main problems to be solved in their computational modelling, which must be realized at several levels. Knowledge about limit states, relevant quantities and their limit values are necessary as well, therefore results of several material tests are presented.
