This paper reports the findings of a pilot study carried out to investigate temperature fields and flow patterns in partially glazed attic. The air preheated in the attic by solar energy is supplied to the rooms through a ventilation system. The main goal of the research is to determine the efficiency of collecting solar energy by means of glazed roof. Besides the measurements numerical modeling has also been employed in the research.
