Constitutive equations for the behaviour of BCC steels at high strain rates
Original language description
Plastic deformation behaviour of formed materials requires the verification of stress-strain curves in real plastic deformation conditions. The behaviour of BCC steels in dependence on plastic deformation, temperature and strain rate can be predicted bymeans of constitutive equations. The paper presents constitutive equations for grade 12050.3 carbon steel according to the Johnson-Cook model. In the verification the TAT method and numeric simulations with the help of the LS DYNA3D program were used. For the linear sensitivity to strain rates ranging from 1 to 1000 s/1 the Johnson -Cook constitutive equations express well the physical parameters of the behaviour of BCC steel during plastics deformations.
