Original language description
It was developed an original numerical model of technology processes with a phase or structural changes, for example of the solidification and cooling of a casting or of the heat-treatment etc. If it does not take mass transfer into account and if it isconsidered mainly heat conduction in a solved system, then the problem can be reduced to solving Fourier's partial differential equation or Fourier-Kirchhoff's equation. 3-D model is based on the explicit difference method. The numerical simulation of the release of latent heat of structural or phase changes is proposed by using the thermodynamic enthalpy function. The numerical model was used to an analysis of the influence of the thermophysical properties and boundary conditions on the calculation accuracy of the transient spatial temperature field. The model was apply to calculation of the temperature field of a concasting process for a steel slab.
