  • Original language description

    An original 3D numerical model of a temperature field for solidification and cooling of cast slab in concasting machine had been assembled. Simultaneusly the experimental research and measuring had been made. The second original model for dendritic segregation of elements assesses critical points of blanks from the viewpoint of their increased susceptibility to crack and fissure. Both models will be used for optimisation of concasting technology.
