Possible use of surface-measured EMG signals in prosthetics.
Original language description
At the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic) has been dealing with production robotisation and the assembly automation with the purpose to apply roboticsin prosthetics. This interdisciplinary issue calls for research and tests of the possible control of such mechatronic equipment by the "master-slave" system, i.e. by the human will via myoelectric signals (EMG). The article presents some interesting ressults achieved in this respect.
