    This article deals with the experimental measurement of deformation forces and stresses during the Taylor anvil test performed with the specimens of 12 122.3 steel at the increased temperature of the specimens. By the help of the storage oscilloscope Tektronix the stress pulses were taken and consequently converted to the deformation - forming force. Further the surface temperature of the specimens was measured with the contact sensor, the impact temperature with the contactless temperature sensing heead called Thermalert Compact MID and the new constructional design of the carrier thermal block was practically verified. Our effort was to approach the TAT experiment to real forming conditions in the praxis. That is because the component material warmsup at the cold forming process in virtue of the translocation of the atoms inside of the metal.
