Original language description
An important area of the concasting machine is the so-called secondary cooling zone, where the first section uses water jets from all sides of the concasting and the remaining twelve sections engage air-water jets.A great number of experiments had been conducted on an experimental laboratory device simulating the surface of a concasting in order to determine the intensity of the cooling jets. Obtained heat transfer coefficients are used as the main input data of the numerical model of the temperature fiield.

Czech description
Důležitou oblastí kontinuálně licího stroje je t.zv. sekundární zona, kde v první sekci jsou ze všech stran vodní trysky a ve zbývajících dvanácti sekcích vodovzdušné trysky. Bylo realizováno značné množství experimentů na laboratorním zařízení simulujícím povrch kontinuálně odlévaného materiálu za účelem stanovení intenzity chlazení trysek. Získané hodnoty součinitele přestupu tepla jsou hlavními vstupními daty pro numerický model teplotního pole.
