Original language description
The paper describes the application of algorithms for edge detection in images. Edge detectors seek to find in an image a sharp change in the intensity of image function. Edges are formed by points where brightness changes abruptly. Edge detection in animage is closely connected with image processing and preprocessing. The application program therefore includes an adjustment of brightness and contrast, gray scale transformation, several filtering methods and histogram operations.

Příspěvek se zabývá aplikací algoritmů pro detekci hran v obraze. Hranové detektory vyhledávají v obraze strmou změnu intenzity obrazové funkce. Hrany jsou tvořeny body, kde se náhle mění jas. Hranová detekce souvisí s problematikou předzpracování i zpracování obrazu. Uvedená aplikace zahrnuje nastavení jasu a kontrastu, transformace do stupňů šedi, některé filtrační metody a zobrazení histogramu
