Stirling Engine Development Process - CFD Approach

  • Original language description

This paper presents a new approach to a thermodynamic cycle solution of a Stirling engine of -modification. The dynamic computational models of Stirling engine are based on CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) which makes it possible to create engine modifications for the concept stage without producing expensive prototypes. The objective of our team of researchers is to create a virtual Stirling engine prototype in the form of an advanced and complex computational model which would assist in solving theissues of fluid dynamics with significantly higher accuracy.
