Steel and ductile cast-iron rollers are cast into cylindrical iron moulds. It is necessary to use a numerical model o, the mould and ambient. An original methodology for the measurement of microheterogeneity had been developed- based on the results of the model of the temperature field of the cast rollers.

Czech description
Ocelové válce a válce z tvárné litiny jsou odlévány v kovové kokile. Je nutné použít numerický model teplotního pole celého systému - odlitku, kokily a okolí. Byla vyvinuta originální metodika měření mikroheterogenity - založená na výsledcích modelu teplotního pole odlévaných válců.
