Computational and Experimental Modeling of DC Machine cooling by Heat Pipe
Original language description
This project is concerned with non-convectional DC machine rotor cooling using heat pipe in the shaft. The aim was to examine the possibilities of using heat pipe for cooling of DC machine rotor winding. The heat pipe effect was tested on the real DC machine. The thermal model using finite elements method was used for the check of such cooling. The experimental measuring was used for verification of computational simulations.
