CHANGES OF HYPERFINE PARAMETERS IN AMORPHOUS Fe80Nb3Cu1B16 ALLOY UNDER TENSILE STRESS
Original language description
The NANOPERM-type Fe80Nb3Cu1B16 alloy in an amorphous state was gradually tensile stressed up to a failure and studied in-situ by 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy at room temperature. Mössbauer spectra were taken in a transmission geometry using ?-rays and ina scattering geometry using conversion electrons to follow the microstructural changes in the bulk and at the surface, respectively. The spectra were analyzed using two Gaussian distributions of hyperfine inductions. The variations of hyperfine parameters indicate the changes in chemical and topological ordering and alignment of magnetic moments in direction of applied stress.
