This paper deals with research and production optimization of heavy castings from austenitic nickel cast iron - so-called nirezist. On the basis of accessible literature analysis and in particular on the basis of seven experimental meltages the followingproblems are researched: to ensure of austenitic structure, which is necessary for good corrosion resistance. Take precautions against creation of Chunky graphite. The research was also carried out of influence of chromium content on number and locationof carbides in the structure. Determination of carbon eutectic concentration for variable cast iron chemist and calculation of eutectic temperature, liquidus temperature and pouring temperature. Determination of influence of carbon and nickel concentration on eutectic and liquidus temperatures.
