Special Isomorphisms of F[x1,...,xn] Preserving GCD and their Use

  • Original language description

Special isomorphisms of the ring R of polynomials with n indeterminates over a field F are investigated and it is shown that these isomorphisms preserve the greatest common divisor of two polynomials. The ring R is etended to the ring S and the ring T ofgeneralized polynomials with rational non-negative and rational powers by indeterminates, respectively- The given isomorphisms of R are also extended on the rings S and T and it is peoved that these isomorphisms preserve the greatestcommon divisor as well. On the basie of these results ir is shown that in the ring T of generalized polynomials each two polynomials has a greatest common divisor.
