Fractional Generalization of the Classical Viscoelasticity Models

  • Original language description

In this article we consider an application of the fractional calculus in the theory of viscoelasticity. First we give a brief survey of the important formulas of the fractional calculus and we mention an introduction into the classical viscoelasticity. Then we sketch main ideas of fractional viscoelasticity and finally we focus on a fractional model and derive its step response functions.
