Flow Simulation of a Low Specific Speed Pump
Result description
The paper deals with flow in pumps with low specific speed. It examines the impeller with recirculation ducts and properties of these tiny channels. First are listed the reasons that lead to the construction of the narrow blade channels. Here is a visualization of flow in tiny channels, flow analysis or the effect of the gap between back shroud and spiral casing. Monitoring is the impact of various diameters on the ducts flow rate and shaft torque of pump.
