Comparison of materials produced by classical and modern additive (DMLS method) powder metallurgy
Original language description
Rapid Prototyping is a process of rapid production of prototype parts or physical models directly from computer data. Rapid Prototyping is used in all sectors of engineering industry, including healthcare. The theoretical part of the paper deals with theprinciple of Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) method and with materials used in the experiment. The practical part compares mechanical properties and a structure of the material produced by conventional metallurgy and by using DMLS method.
