ENERGY USAGE OF CONTAMINATED BIOMASS
Original language description
The main topic of this research was to study the possibility of energy usage some specific kind of fuels. It is focused especially on biomass contaminated by undesirable substances. It increased the content of pollutants determined whether this materialshould be used as waste or as a traditional fuel. The research mainly is focused on thermal gasification methods of contaminated biomass in atmospheric fluidized bed. The contaminated biomass can be seen in some way as waste. Thermal gasification in fluidized bed appears to be as a very advanced technology with regard to the liquidation of waste. Thermal gasification in fluidized bed allows for very efficient thermo-chemical conversion of fuel to another state, in this case gas. In general, the combustion process of gas has better possibilities of combustion condition control. It means, that is possible have lower values of emissions of undesirable compounds.
