Optimization strategy for energy saving in buildings with the PCMs
Original language description
The phase change of a material is accompanied with the release or absorption of a huge amount of heat. That makes the phase change a phenomenon effectively usable in various thermal storage applications. Nowadays, integrating phase change material (PCM)in building constructions is a progressive way how to minimize energy consumption. Increasing of energy prices caused rapid grow of the various PCM in the market. There are a number of materials with the melting temperature lying within the thermal comfort range environments. To minimize energy consumption, the main aim is to stabilize of the internal environment when there is an external temperature change.
