FEM Model of Electro-magnetic Vibration Energy Harvester

  • Original language description

This paper deals with finite element method analyses, shortly FEM, of electro-magnetic vibration energy harvester in Ansys Maxwell environment. Development and simulation modeling of energy harvesting devices is presented long time by our mechatronic team and several successful harvesters were tested in industrial applications. The adequate simulation model is fundamental for development of a successful industrial application of the electro-magnetic vibration energy harvester due to complexity of this mechatronic system. The presented approach of simulation modeling is based on complex FEM analyses in Maxwell environment and it provides useful tool for precise simulation modeling of developed energy harvesting applications.
