SOLAR AIR HEATING IN BUILDINGS
Original language description
The paper presents several ways of solar air heating in buildings that were investigated by the researches from the Department of Thermodynamics and Environmental Engineering at the Brno University of Technology. Solar air heating systems are not as common as water-based solar systems but they can be used in a variety of buildings. The solar air heating systems can operate with or without thermal energy storage. The application of solar air heating in a library, an apartment building (retirement home) and a detached dwelling is described in the paper.
