Oil quality and system maintenance optimisation
Original language description
In the paper we have applied selected analytical methods of analysing oil field data from heavy off-road military vehicles. When interpreting the information from the engine oil, we took into consideration polluting particles, such as wear process particles (e.g. Fe, Pb, Cu, etc.) and oil deterioration particles (e.g. APP, Mn, Si, Zn, etc.). These particles can give us information not only about a system state, but also about an oil state. Luckily, an extensive set of oil data from field operation is available. The particles we concentrate on in our paper are oil Anti-Oxidant and Anti-Wear Particles (AOWP).
