Fatigue analyses and optimization of L 410 NG aircraft
Original language description
The complementary participation of the Institute of Aerospace Engineering on L 410 NG commuter transport aircraft design is presented in this paper. For damage tolerance analyses and following modifications modern finite element methods were used. A specific load sequence, which includes gust, maneuver and ground loads, was designed. Then detailed damage tolerance analyses of lower wing integrally stiffened and riveted wing panels were investigated. Complex damage tolerance analyses, crack propagation simulations and utilization of modern topometry finite element optimization method are presented in this article.
