    Thermo-vacuum chamber of 5 dm3 to simulate high vacuum of 10-3 Pa to 10-4 Pa or atmosphere of 1000 Pa CO2 was designed to measure thermal conductivity of space hardware higher than 0.01 W/K. Two blended radiator-heaters allow independent set up and control of thermal conditions from -150 °C to +100 °C to measure steady-state, gradient or life-cycle temperature profiles. Cooling is provided by external tanks for liquid nitrogen, connected to a heat sink by copper rods.
