Vibrations of flexible bodies submerged in fluid
Original language description
This paper deals with the problem of identification of added effects of fluid that impacts on the flexible body. Derived method uses modal transformation and assumes negligible influence of ambient fluid on the eigenvectors. Presented method is based on the inverse method which utilizes the spectral matrix and the modal matrices for identification of the matrices of dynamic system. Added effects matrices for lateral vibrations of beam are determined on the basis of inverse method. Derived method is general and applicable on the fluid-structure interaction issues.
