Design of an antenna pedestal stabilization controller based on cascade topology
Original language description
The design of the movable Satcom antenna represents a complex mechatronic problem. The restricted requirements for mechanical parts, drives and control systems must be met. In case of complex problems, the design based on the simulation model rapidly reduces development time. This paper deals with the design of the control algorithm and its verification with a simplified dynamic model of the stabilization system. To achieve the required accuracy, the control structure is divided into low-level and high-level stages. The performed simulations indicate that the presented algorithm is suitable for further development of stabilization systems.
