Original language description
Presented paper deals with material and dimensional analysis of modern sport optics binocular. Design and manufacture a prototype sample using a CFRP manufacturing technology. It served as a proof of concept in terms of manufacturing a binoculars-like body using CFRP. The two-piece prototype mold and the CFRP tube were 3D scanned using optical 3D scanner GOM ATOS. The measured data were evaluated and compared to the nominal CAD model.
