Hydrogen - the fuel of the future, or the study of biohydrogen production from waste whey by anaerobic bacteria for its subsequent use as fuel for the automotive industry
Original language description
This research focuses on the production of biohydrogen using Clostridium bacteria and its potential use in the automotive industry as an alternative fuel. In addition to pure biohydrogen, the study also explores the possibilities of utilizing impure hydrogen produced during manufacturing. The research further investigates the application of hydrogen in spark-ignition and compression-ignition engines. The optimization of fermentation conditions and subsequent application in combustion engines aim to reduceemissions and increase energy efficiency. The outcomes of this research may contribute to the development of sustainable fuel technologies and the decarbonization of transportation.
