The aim of this research was to analyze the process of high feed milling, including a comparison of two types of milling tools from the manufacturer Dormer Pramet s.r.o. The material to be machined was X37CrMoV5-1 steel. The data obtained provide, among other things, an overview of the overall energy consumption of the high-slide machining process and its evaluation in terms of performance, sustainability and economic efficiency. The study focused, among other things, on the cutting tool coating.
