    For the measurement and computer simulation a number of typical products of grey cast iron were selected, weighing 14 to 40 kg. For these castings an optimum regime of releasing these castings from moulds was established with aim of obtaining a minimum level of internal stresses in the temperatures of predominantly elastic deformations below 380°C.
