Way to Routine Application of Bimodal Stereo Analzsis in Scanning Electron Microscopy
Original language description
The paper describes the novelties in the method of stereo-analysis based on bimodal stereo-couples of images taken by scanning electron microscope. Based on the theory as described in previous papers, the routine application of the approach needed several marginal but important problems to be solved. The most important of them are the occlusion and low-contrast area problems in disparity analysis and consequently the need of interactive corrections during the analysis, inter-modal mismatch of bi-modal images, direction uncertainty of the tilt axis etc.; the corresponding measures had to be added. These, together with examples of obtained new, more precise results, showing usability of the method even in difficult cases, is the subject of the contribution
