Two numerical models of concasting technology and its use
Original language description
An important part of t solving is measuring the necessary quantities in the course of continuous casting. This at the same time means the necessary linking of the procedure real process R obtaining of input data R performing of the numerical analysis Thenumerical model generates distribution curves showing the dendritic segregation of the analyzed element, together with the distribution coefficients of the elements between the liquid and solid states. Using this method it is possible to forecast the occurrence of the critical points of a blank from the viewpoint of its susceptibility to crack and fissure. This combination of two models is solved in a new and original way.
